Chakra Shark

Bright and beachy, the Chakra Shark is our spring riff on the Zombie cocktail. It combines a rum blend with grapefruit, lime, cinnamon, absinthe, and our Kumquat Lavender Rose Shrub.


CHAKRA SHARK

1.5 oz white rum

.5 oz dark rum

1/2 oz Kumquat Lavender Rose Shrub

3/4 oz fresh lime juice

1/4 oz cinnamon syrup

1 tsp absinthe

1 large grapefruit slice

1 pinch of salt

Shake everything with ice, including the grapefruit slice (for flavor and citrus oils). Strain over fresh ice.

A seasonal release in collaboration with Nopalito Farm in Valley Center, California. We source organic Meiwa kumquats from Nopalito's property then macerate them whole with organic lavender flowers and rose petals in our base of organic apple cider vinegar and cane sugar. The shrub is pink, floral, and ripping with fresh acidity and juicy spring flavors.

For cocktails: Add ½ oz shrub to 2 oz spirit plus soda or citrus

For shrub sodas: Mix ½ oz shrub per 6 oz bubbly water

Ingredients: Organic Kumquats, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Lavender Flowers, Organic Rose Petals, Salt.
