Smoky, complex, and fruity, this cocktail brings a variety of interesting flavors into balance. Think of it as a “winter margarita” of sorts, with hints of coffee and cinnamon.


ANTIGUA

1.5 oz mezcal

1/4 oz coffee liqueur (we like Mr. Black)

1/2 oz Cool Hand Co. Blackberry Cacao Nib Orange Peel Shrub

3/4 oz fresh lime juice

1/4 oz cinnamon syrup

Shake with ice and strain into glass.

Made with a base of organic blackberries from Stehly Farms in Valley Center, CA. We macerate the berries with organic cacao nibs and the peels of fresh organic oranges for up to one week. The result is a rich and complex shrub packed with jammy berry notes. Especially delicious with gin and mezcal, or drizzled on vanilla yogurt and ice cream.

For Cocktails: Add ½ oz shrub to 2 oz spirit plus soda or citrus

For Shrub Sodas: Mix ½ oz shrub per 6 oz bubbly water

Ingredients: Organic Blackberries, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Cacao Nibs, Organic Orange Peels, Smoked Salt.
