A versatile drink for all seasons that balances the bright, tropical vibes of our Pineapple Turmeric Ginger Shrub with warm, earthy flavors of bay leaf and honey.
DESCANSO
2 oz spirit of choice (we love gin or tequila)
1/2 oz Cool Hand Co. Pineapple Turmeric Ginger Shrub
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1/2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
1/4 oz bay leaf-infused honey syrup (recipe below)
Shake with ice and strain into glass. Garnish with bay leaf.
Bay Leaf Infused Honey Syrup (Makes 12 servings)
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup hot water
5-6 bay leaves
Directions: Combine all ingredients and cover with a lid. Infuse for 15 minutes, then strain and discard leaves. Store leftover syrup in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

For Shrub Sodas: Mix ½ oz shrub per 6 oz bubbly water
