Cool Hand Pickle Brine
Who would have thought shrubs would make the perfect base for quick refrigerator pickles? Just add some water and vinegar to lengthen the brine, and the pickle possibilities are endless.
BRINE
1/4 cup CHC shrub
1/2 cup organic apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup filtered water
1 tsp salt
PICKLE IDEAS
Cucumbers, thinly sliced
Red onion, thinly sliced
Carrots, thinly chopped
Radishes, thinly sliced
Mix brine ingredients in a separate bowl. Pour over dry ingredients until covered. Refrigerate in a covered container for at least 8 hours and enjoy within 2 weeks.
