Goodland Salad
This salad is pure California deliciousness. Ripe avocado, crunchy almonds and spicy pickled onions on a bed of savory arugula, all tossed with our Strawberry Hibiscus Jalapeño Shrub.
SALAD
2 cups baby arugula
1/4 avocado, thinly sliced
1/8 cup almonds, chopped
1/8 cup pickled red onion
DRESSING
1/2 oz extra virgin olive oil
1/2 oz CHC Strawberry Hibiscus Jalapeño Shrub
1 pinch salt
Mix dressing in a separate bowl. Add to dry ingredients before serving and toss briefly.

Made with a base of organic strawberries from Stehly Farms and Be Wise Ranch in San Diego, CA. Whole berries are macerated with organic hibiscus flowers and fresh jalapeños for up to one week. The result is a jammy and tart shrub with fresh green heat on the back end. Perfect for margaritas, this shrub was born to be mixed with agave spirits but is also delicious with gin and white rum.
For Cocktails: Add ½ oz shrub to 2 oz spirit plus soda or citrus
For Shrub Sodas: Mix ½ oz shrub per 6 oz bubbly water
Ingredients: Organic Strawberries, Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Jalapeños, Organic Hibiscus Flowers, Salt.
